healthy pet challenge

This past summer I was noticing excessive shedding and loose and inconsistent stools in our dogs.  Also noticed strong odors which was attracting too many flies to our kennels.   We had been feeding Purina  but then we were introduced to "Life's Abundance".   We were so impressed by the quality and high standards of this dog food and the amazing testimonials from the customers and field representatives of this company that we decided to switch to this high quality nutritional system we now call www.GundogNutrition.com.   The name of the food is  "Life's Abundance" - All Life Stages & All Life Stages "Grain Free".

We also supplement our dog's feeding with the Wellness and Agility Supplements, Treats, and use all their Pet Care products such as shampoo, bath fresh mist, floor cleaner, and deodorizing spray.

"Life's Abundance is fresher, safer, and more nutritious."   Since feeding this food we have noticed that our Labs have shiny coats with minimal shedding, bright eyes, more energy, and consistent "easy to pick" up stools with less odor.

Our mission at SoDak Labradors & Gundog Kennels is to improve the quality of the Labrador Retriever Breed and offer our customers beautiful, healthy, and well-tempered Labrador Retrievers that they can enjoy for many years to come.

This line of pet products was formulated by Dr. Jane Bicks, DVM. She has been a holistic vet for over 20 years. She has also created a non-profit foundation where a percent of her product line is contributed toward rescue and care for pets.

Did you know that dogs and cats genetically can live to be 20 years old, but the current average is 13-15? While many factors can help the life longevity – environment, health care, etc. Nutrition is one of the most important factors!

We would also like to invite you to Discover our "Healthy Pet Challenge"!

We believe, many of the ingredients in store bought pet foods today cause a shorter life span due to the poor quality ingredients, cheap fillers, and artificial preservatives that cause stress on their kidney and liver functions which include; wheat, corn, and soy. These are also major allergens to our pets.

By-products such as chicken heads, duck bills, fish heads, chicken and turkey feet, bones and diseased & contaminated slaughterhouse meat can also be included in our pet foods!   BHA, and BHT preservatives which harm our dog’s liver and kidneys  and are known carcinogens!  As well as Ethoxyquin,  which is used to stabilize rubber can also be used. All these chemicals are added to provide a longer shelf life, for months, even possibly a couple of years!  By the time your dog eats the old food it can be stale or become moldy from being stored in warm warehouses or box units.

We are now feeding www.GundogNutrition to all of our client's gundogs that we are boarding and training at our kennel.   We believe that raising the puppies on this food and wellness supplements will help ensure a long and healthy life, as well as provide our puppies a healthy start in their development for optimal health.

While this dog food “seems” more expensive up front, the cost is about $2.12 a day for a 60 pound adult dog. Americans spend more than that on their Starbuck's coffee every morning!!!  "With Life's Abundance, you feed less dog food, but your dog gets more nutrition!"   They are able to digest and utilize the dog food more.  You will be ensuring a long and healthy life for your beloved pet when you feed them quality nutrition!

Isn't your family pet and hunting dog worth it?
